Government frees access to the Paraná Note program credits

The government of Parana released, on Monday (23), access to the Paraná Note program credits.The project gives consumers a chance to recover 30% of the Tax on Goods and Services (ICMS), paid by traders. The values ​​can be exchanged for cash, claims on prepaid cell phones or discounted Tax on Motor Vehicles (IPVA).

To access credits, Paraná citizens can access the program website. Who did the registration until Friday (20), also competes for prizes, raffles which should take place in December this year, the national lottery.

To be eligible for credits, consumers should ask the traders to enter the CPF in the invoice. The calculation is done automatically, even if the consumer has not made the registration in the program.

According to the government, the return of credits is done only on the GST paid by the merchant. Ie, in particular purchase, the collected ICMS was of R $ 100, the consumer will be entitled to R $ 30.00. If the purchase has been made in micro and small businesses, exempt from VAT, no credits to be received.

Likewise, we must be aware of the rates charged. Not all products are taxed in the GST. In some cases, the discount of the tax is made only from the manufacturer. Thus, the note issued by the supplier may not have charged VAT, which also does not generate credits in Parana Note.

According to the government, this first stage of distribution of credits, received R $ 20.6 million.Already the sweepstakes, which will be held in December, will be giving away cash prizes of up to R $ 200,000.

In all, 600,000 people are enrolled in the program. Since August, when the program began, they were issued 73,400,000 invoices with the CPF inserted consumer. Of these, 33.76 million were calculated to generate consumer credits.
