The letter of Ernesto Sanz: "I will not take any place in government or my party"

Rarely have I sat down to write so emotionally charged as this time.

Many media have asked me opinion pieces I will try to fulfill. But first, I want to convey what I'm living in this personal space, direct and almost intimate.

A new stage in Argentina is opened. Exciting, challenging, full of hopes and anxieties.

But with the changing times also come new challenges.

Excess liability, adrenaline, constant challenges, ego, vanity ... An impressive cocktail that formed a huge whirlwind of intensity especially in the last 10 years.

You could define it in a thousand ways, from many angles, but summarize in a sentence to be understood: I'm definitely Argentine politician who accumulates more days and nights away from home in recent years.

And then here comes the change, which also comes to my personal life. I decided to reclaim the space of man, which is the space of my loves, my place in the world and also the dreams of living space that was putting a lot - too much-time and the time has come to realize.

I will not hold any place either the Government or my party.

They know it and Mauricio Macri and the top leaders of radicalism; and you know, as applicable, before this letter and fruit of intimate, emotional and very, very valuable conversations.

They also know that I am and I will be helping in many ways and in many circumstances, because politics is part of my being, even if I stay away from the office.
